Introduction

Welcome to the Web site created for the village of Bilbrook in Staffordshire, a county in the Midlands of England.

It's purpose is to provide information about the village and hopefully to be used by the community to share ideas, news and details of events and local organisations. Let me have your comments and suggestions and we can create a useful site for our community.

My services are provided free of charge and to enable the site to also be free we have to have the adverts at the top of the screens.

The site will hopefully be worked on over the next few weeks and involve people and organisations from the village.

If the main screen doesn't look quite right, try changing the text size of your browser. Click on View, then Text Size and Larger.

Bilbrook has about four thousand residents and lies some 5 miles to the North West of the City of Wolverhampton. Although there has been quite a lot of development over the last decade, Bilbrook retains most of its rural character. It is still surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Staffordshire. The village is very close to its sister village, the larger Codsall. Many outsiders and the local papers don't recognise the distinction between the two, but many Bilbrook residents resent being lumped together with Codsall.

The village is very quiet, but there are things to do. There are clubs in the village/church halls, a pub and a restaurant. Details of these things can be found on other pages on this site. Check them out from the Home page.

As you can see from the counter at the bottom of the title page this site attracts a reasonable number of vistors but you all seem to be quite shy! Please leave a message in the Guest Book.
